STREAM OF PASSION: In Writing Mode

STREAM OF PASSION members Johan van Stratum (bass),Davy Mickers (drums) and Marcela Bovio (vocals, lyrics, violin) have issued the following statement:

"A lot has happened since our last news [update]. Currently we're extremely busy writing new material and we are happy to inform you that within a few weeks we've already gathered more than enough material for about half an album.

"What's always been special about STREAM OF PASSION is the intercontinental web-based writing process, which we now again are using with success. From Mexico Marcela has been writing and recording a lot of melody lines and music, which she then sends to Holland where Davy and Johan contribute their parts. The overall feel of the new music is heavy, inspirational and still the recognizable STREAM OF PASSION twist and we are very excited about it! Of course we're also really busy with looking for new musicians and already have a lot of options for the new guitar player(s) and a keyboard player. During next month we will be having the first tryouts.

STREAM OF PASSION recently parted ways with Arjen Lucassen (guitar),Lori Linstruth (guitar) and Alejandro Millán (piano).

STREAM OF PASSION's debut album, "Embrace the Storm", was released in Holland in October 2005 via Sony/BMG Benelux. The CD was issued in the rest of Europe and the U.S./Canada via InsideOut Music.
